I just beat Toy Time Galaxy.
I thought that those were robot frogs, but when one of those Gear/robot people said 'fire-breathing robot turtle things', that immediately called to mind Mecha Koopas.
...
Those things were NOT Mecha Koopas! o_o;
...
Were they..? |

... They were. I know. It's wierd.
This game needs more dry humor, and a dry bones boss. Oh, how I love the dry. |

(No, I'm in character. Frankly, DUSTY DUNE SUCKS. But I'd like to see a better appearance of dry bones. I meant it when I said a dry bones boss. Maybe a giant fearsome one. |

((I know. But yeah, I hated the climb...))
When I saw the Dry Bones in there, I was all "OOOH!". But when I saw that they were on all fours, I went "aw... I wanted the walky ones."
Then again, the Giga Dry Bones from NSMB were insanely tall. I couldn't squish them, especially not in the narrow castle pathways.
(Giga Dry Bones = those Dry Bones which are twice the size of normal ones.) |

Dry Bones also appears in Super Mario Galaxy. They are only in the Dusty Desert Galaxy, Bowser's Dark Matter Plant and the final level, Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. They walk on all four legs like in Super Mario Bros. 3 (as do Koopa Troopas; the first time in a 3-D platformer). They regenerate themselves, like in previous games. These Dry Bones have a much more dramatic death, as they explode in a cloud of dust.
Strangely, when a Dry Bones successfully attacks Mario or Luigi, it laughs like a Boo.
The only way to defeat these Dry Bones was by touching one of them with a Rainbow Sta

What? I loved the climb. It was one of my favorite levels...
And the part on Sandblast where the gravity of the planetoids takes you to the other side of the area with the Launch Star; simply awesome. |

I watched the Dry Bones's movement from first-person, it's totally inaccurate. They only walk with their back legs, they're just leaning forward like they always have. |
