I found a link to it and decided that it might be worth the time. Maybe it will teach me a few Japanese words, cause right now, my Japanese vocabulary is just "konichiwa", "chichi", "karate", "opai", "katana", "moge", "tai kwan do", "hentai", "kungfu", "pantsu", "beeru", "yuri", "godzilla", "yaoi", "neko", "loli", "naruto", "shota", "ramen", and "futanari"... That list of Japanese vocabulary says alot about me doesn't it? But this game might manage to help me expand that vocabulary. Maybe it'll get to where only 1/4 of the Japanese words I know will get me slapped. Wink

I was about to say, yeah, some of those words are... interesting. XD Not that I know much more. (Maybe a few basic sentences, but that's about it.)

The site looks kind of cool :3

Tai Kwon Do is actually a Korean martial art. It's Korean for Hand and Foot art.

You see? I couldn't even get half of the Japanese words I know to be unrelated to perverted things (even the neko can be pretty se... nevermind).

Japanese is not a language I care to learn.

Don't they have a word for every object?

I'm not ready for such idiotic things, nor do I have the patience to waste such mental capacity to learn a language that is not-so-widely used... besides by japanese people and "otakus"

God does japanese confuse me. I tried to figure out what Desu meant, but I just got lost in all of the nonsense. I have people telling me it means one thing, people telling me it means another, and some people just tell me it doesn't mean anything at ALL.

It's not a thing I wish to wrack my brain over. I do that enough over english/american grammar and spelling, which is insanely hard to figure out, even for people who speak it from birth... Razz

Yeah, english has some silly rules and too many words that sound the same. D:

The only reason I would want to learn japanese is so that I could read some things that won't ever get released in english (ToA novels, how I want to understand you...)

If you don't want to learn the language, that's fine with me.

My reasons for wanting to learn the language is mostly so that I can overcome my need to watch subbed anime, stop needing to look for translated versions of hentai manga, and know what the heck it's saying in those trailers for videogames that still haven't been translated.

It's not spelt "konichiwa", the correct way to spell it is "Konnichi Wa".

Is loli even a japanese word? Is GODZILLA a japanese word?

And aren't kung fu and tai kwan do chinese?

You go ahead and watch your neko yaoi shota while eating ramen with godzilla. I don't care.

I know that inuyasha translates to "Demon dog" or "dog demon" or something... but I don't know what the inu and the yasha mean seperately ;_;

That's because japanese words can mean different things depending on how they are written/translated.
