I'm waiting out for conformation of possible Wii Edition.
Plus, its not a knockoff. Activision bought Harmonix and Red Octane (Something like that) and they got split. =( |

What instrument does Maiq play? I'll join as long as I know what is open.
Also Guitar Hero 3 is technically the rip-off. Harmonix made GH, GH2, and Rock Band. |

I tried the demo.
I rocked at the drums. :3 Got a 96%. Beat my brother's scores (52% and 78%).
...
I think...

If they really were one company, then I cn laugh even more now how much they snarl at each other - Activision wanted to make GH III Guitars compatible with Rock Band and Red Octane sued them out of it, or at least OBJECTED !

Here's the deal. Activision bought Red Octane and the rights to Guitar Hero while Harmonix and Red Octane were working on these excellent games. Im pretty sure Harmonix got bought by a different company, but I dont remember. |

No, you have it all wrong. Red Octane and Harmonix made GH 1 and 2. Red Octane did the art and characters and Harmonix programmed the game. Activision bought Red Octane, and since Red Octane holds rights to the Guitar Hero franchise they were able to make GH3. Harmonix was taken up by MTV games and they made Rock Band. Since Rock Ban dis based off the original code of GH 1 & 2, GH3 is technically the rip off. |
