Mine was the last on the shelf in Best Buy.
They're pretty common in my town. I saw two on the shelf just the other day at Wal-Mart. Then again, after a minute of wondering the game section, I saw a guy buy it. |

1.8 million. HAH. I laugh at that number. There are around 1 million people living in New York city alone. I'm glad to live in country where wiis don't sell so insanely. (I can't believe I got mine so easilly. I think it's carma, seeing I got it right after cleaning my grandma's yard. |

Wow. Some games sell for cheap! Then again, maybe it might be a vision of things to come, like The Wii Player's Choice Lineups. |

I swear i must be the luckiest bastard on the face of the planet because last year i just asked for one for Christmas sometime in November and got it! My stepmom told me she went through hell and back to get it though, saying she actually had to talk to the lady who was actually bringing in the shipment of wiis and she still barely managed to get the second to last one in the store. alot of people hated me that year. lol |

It was awesome. Nobody hated me, they just watched me in utter awe whenever I walked by. |

I heard from my father that now some people get paid for Wiis. This was his example:
"Let's say Best Buy has 20 Wiis. They assign Wii buyers numbers. The first 20 numbers (1-20) get one o the 20 Wiis. Let's say someone ends up as number 10. They have a 100% chance of getting a Wii. Let's say someone else is number 50. They'll either have to wait, or go somewhere else. They may go up to the person with number 10, and ask if they could have that number for a price. That is how people are able to gain money."
He said something like that. Fortunately, the gaming place I go to to play on the Wiis and such already has enough Wiis. |

Getting a wii where I live is stupidly easy because everyone seems to hate them here. |

Then they are stupid in more ways than one, becauase even if they did hate them, they could still sell them on eBay for $100+ profit. |

If people end up hating it a bit more, then we might see Player's Choice Titles for Wii, with either the Yellow "Player's Choice" emblem above the Wii thing on the boxes, and/or the white border would be black for it. |

I always thought the shortage was just a marketing ploy to increase the demand. Now I know that they need to produce wiis about like, what 1.5 times as fast? Sounds almost right. Eh, what do I care? I found a wii after going to fred meyer as soon as it opened. |
