Good choice. I think that those games are more than just classics: They are written in the Gaming History books! (AKA: Nintendo Power) |

The SNES was probably dominant of its era. The SNES is one of Nintendo's best systems. |

Here is my analysis on all of Nintendo's console.
NES: Redefined home gaming
Gameboy: First true portable system.
SNES: Brought gaming into it's current form and produced some of the best games ever.
Gameboy Color: First color gaming system.
N64: Brought games into the 3d era.
GBA: Advanced portable gaming into a new era.
Gamecube: Uhh...N64 with better graphics.
DS: Redefined gaming as a whole.
Wii: Brought DS innovation to console gaming. |

Wii and DS, because each can play pretty much every Nintendo game before them |

I also didn't get a SNES, because my mom was angry enough that my great-aunts bought me a NES and got me addicted to it. XD
My favorite was the N64 because of the many great games, I like the DS a lot too. And Wii But I might never have gotten into any of these if it wasn't for the original NES. |

Actually, GBC was NOT the first color system. The SNES was. |

Actually, i think he meant color HANDHELD system. And the first color portable system was the Atari Lynx. Followed by the TurboExpress, then the SEGA Game Gear, and THEN the Game Boy Color
And there were many many color systems before the SNES |

I meant first color portable system. Also you are wrong anyway since the NES had color. |
