The Nintendo DS is still going strong, as developers begin to push the limits of this handheld. The nominees are:
Sonic Rush Adventure Sonic Rush Adventure proves that the ol' hedgehog can still deliver a top-notch platformer. Picross DS If you are looking for something to keep you busy for those long bus rides or even while relaxing at home, Picross DS offers nearly endless, addictive gameplay Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Tons of strategic depth and gameplay that's incredibly rewarding; it's one of those games that offers an enormous sense of accomplishment for even the littlest things performed. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass An invigorating blend of old and new, classic puzzle-based adventuring spliced with a user-friendly, touch-screen interface, and finally, a sparkling re-invention to the mostly untouched Zelda formula. Drawn to Life The uniqueness and enjoyment of being able to create so much of the world yourself makes this platformer one worth playing Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings Just as Final Fantasy Tactics did nearly 10 years ago, Revenant Wings successfully takes the series into uncharted waters in an unforgettable way. DK Jungle Climber The control scheme is still as intuitive as it was first time round, but it is now encased in a fun and rewarding experience that is a pleasure to play from start to finish. Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon A great game with an overwhelming amount of things to do giving you a lot of freedom to explore the little world and follow the main story at your own pace.

Pokemon DP of course! Drawn to Life was very, um, unorthodox, SSSS-BLAM. |

Phantom Hourglass was close, but it couldn't beat Pokemon's replay value. Wifi is an awesome feature Pal Park is great. |

Just looking at this list makes me realize how bad this year has been for games I enjoy. Oh well. The new Advanced Wars comes soon enough. In the meantime maybe I'll pick up Picross. |

I decided to go with Sonic Rush Adventure, because even though Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are good, they got a bit boring (even though I got addicted to them again), while that didn't happen with Rush Adventure. |

Phantom hourglass is the 2nd Zelda game I've actually continued playing after completion of the story.
And it's the only onne of those I've even played. |

I only just got Pokémon Diamond and Phantom Hourglass... but I'll give my vote to Hourglass. |

Zelda. It's probably my favorite portable Zelda and one of my favorite DS games. |
