I disagree. I know Popple goes a bit overboard sometimes, but face it, when he goes overboard, you people go overboard too. Do you see that Popple is trying to teach you a lesson? The lesson is that the more you spam, the less tolerance you get from Popple, and the faster you're sent off to jail. That's what being a Mod is about, not only to clean up forums, but to teach forum members responsibility, actions, and consequences. So, if you all go overboard on spam, and Popple locks your topics, don't blame Popple for doing his job; blame yourselves for breaking the rules, and eventually blame yourselves for getting jailed.

Why are you considering this? He was chosen to be a mod for a reason. He seems to be doing everything with good intentions and if you're jailed, there's probably a good reason for it.

Geez... this is like my Chemistry class... We had a good teacher, but he had to yell at the class for attention. Last class of the day, poor guy... We only went to Chem-lab twice the whole semester because people would not behave. Heck, they even talked (loudly) during tests!

I was the only one to constantly get passing grades... because I did not talk, because I actually tried to do the work. And half the time, it was easy. A lot like algebra. Math. That's all it was, when it came to formulas.

I agree with Hario....Off-topic isn't for random spam that goes against the rules of Digibutter. The rules apply in every single forum. That means you can't post a topic filled with only swear words, and you can't post a reply with something related to porn in Off-topic. Off-topic is exactly what it is; a place to discuss things that don't belong in any of the other forums, with the rules still being applied. Off-topic is just like any other forum, except for Jail, so treat it like any other forum.

I may not have much of a say, but I think Popple should not be de-modded. If people mess around badly in Off-Topic he has the right to stop that. I've never been disappointed in him.

Both sides have good points here. On one hand, I have heard of the OCC chaos, and I have seen Popple make some questionable decisions from time to time, but I have never been affected by Popple in a bad way and I'm sure several members get on fine with him. Popple is simply doing his job, even if his methods can be a bit severe.
