He's basically the only mod who DOES his job. Maybe he's a little more harsh than some are. If you think about it, he flames less people than those who flame him. Nobody's perfect, don't expect a mod to be. |

Ehee hee hee! It isn't up to the public to determine the fate of Popple's position, nor is it your concern whether you believe that he is not liable for moderation. That responsibilty lies with Francis alone. As far as I have seen, Popple, is just a strict moderator with a very authoratitive attitude, which is exactly what we need in Digibutter to stop the spam from completely overflowing and corrupting the entire forum. There always has to be at least one member of the staff that dishes out punishment and retains order among the civillians. Popple is not just some heartless "Power Abusing" moderator, he's just a moderator who believes that the old-fashioned way is better. |

Alright, for ONCE, I'm going to write a wall of text. This is definately against my better judgement because I swore not to get involved in arguments, but I want to end this one once and for all.
Popple does not deserve global moderation powers because
1. His demand for the Digibutter population to obey his every whim. People are volatile, and don't like new rules being thrust into their faces, changing their everyday lives.
2. His inability to see the fact that some aspects that he doesn't like could be important to other people. He was adamant in his viewpoint that RPOT was doing nothing for the forum, when he didn't even consider that a lot of posts in RPOT means lots of people actually like it.
3. His tendency to flame. The Seesaws were a group DEDICATED to putting down other people, and if anybody did one thing that even shows opposition in any way, they were automatically dubbed "emo" and ganged up on. He claimed it was "only a joke" for the first time WEEKS after it ended.
4. His hypocrisy. He went on a "STOP SPAM IN RPOT" rampage, and has never done anything about it. He even tried to pin the blame on me for not cleaning it up, when he's the one making it an issue.
5. His willingness to cheat to get his way. He struck 4 innocent posts to get a person back in jail, because I let him out after he served a reasonable amount of time. He also locked and struck a person because he said "You're an idiot", when the preceding sentance was making people aware that he was talking to himself.
6. His IQ equal to a garden hose.

That's a reason to say he should be taken off of a digibutter debate club for not addressing a single point that wasn't ever pointed out, but he should be demodded because of that? You're an idiot. I would've said you lost a respect point out of 10 from me, but you're already down to 3/10. Seesaws for that sole purpose? Honestly, learn to take the internet less seriously, and don't get emotionally crushed because some guy with an idiotic username typed "YOU ARE A FREAKIN EMO!!!". And it was obviously a joke. ANYBODY who types in all caps for several sentences on the internet is purposefully acting like a retard.

You're a mod, if you see a spam problem clean it up yourself, don't tell another mod to do it, and then later blatantly lie and say you never did.

He specifically said that "If we delete RPOT, ALL the other forums become more active!" He doesn't care about how others feel about what he thinks, as long as it happens. Not many people would be happy if the most popular forum was deleted because of broken logic.

He said himself it was one of the biggest causes of Digibutter problems. Not the only cause. And it really would make all the other forums active. People would stop jamming themselves into 2 seperate "chatrooms", OT and RPOT, and actually get around to doing things like gambling in the Star Carnival or suggest something in Feedback.
