So earlier today, my family and I managed to slip out of the house and enjoy our time with a little movie. We literately knew nothing about the show, seeing as the media didn't blow it up like most Will Smith flicks. So I went in with a calm mind, and the prediction that I would probably fall asleep.

However this did not happen, as by the middle of the film, I was clinging to my seat and willing to run to the chipmunks movie that was playing in the room beside us. Yes, the movie was that thrilling.

The beginning was cute, a little after it was scarier than hell, and just after that you're bawling your eyes out, and by the middle you are relieved, and the ending I wont reveal.

My ratings;

Plot: 8/10. Usually I'm not into the whole "The world is dead and you are the last man" series, but this one grew on me. The movie could have gone deeper into the flashbacks, to explain more to the viewers, but overall it was great.

Ending: 9/10. The ending was prompt, but it was very well fitted. The unexpected ending left me breathless until it was actually finished. By the time the credits rolled up the crowd, as well as me, were still starring at the screen in amazement.

Graphics/Special effects: 9/10. Although there really wasn't much to do, the things that they did looked amazing.

Actors: 9/10. There weren't many characters open, but those who were assigned to their job, well, did their job. Will Smith did a great job, and his impersonation of Donkey cheered the film up, from is dark, deathly haze.

Sounds: 10/10. The sounds made the movie, enough said.

Catch: 10/10. Like I said, this movie had me stuck to my seat. There wasn't one moment were I was bored, and this is coming from a very short attention spanned person.

Emotion: 10+/10. The emotion was OMG. I cried, I was scared and I was happy all at the same time.

Humor: 10/10. I was quite surprised when they pushed the humor into this topic, and it was good humor that didn't completely blow the movie.

Overall: 9.5/10. Yes, it's out of the theaters today, but by the time it comes out on DVD it should be on your must rent list.

Recommendations: This is really for a person who can handle thrillers that will have normal people shivering by the end. There is mild violence, but it's nothing overwhelming.

Theme: Don't tamper too far with things, you may just blow it big: At least that is what I got.

Meh, the ending wasn't that bad, but a lot of people say it sucked. I didn't really enjoy the ending in the book much, though.

The movie was pretty good. The bad stuff are its barely scary, the CG was pretty bad, and it was way too short.

I might rent it when it comes out on dvd or something. My family almost never goes to the theatre. =/
