Popple does not deserve global moderation powers because
1. His demand for the Digibutter population to obey his every whim. People are volatile, and don't like new rules being thrust into their faces, changing their everyday lives.

5. His willingness to cheat to get his way. He struck 4 innocent posts to get a person back in jail, because I let him out after he served a reasonable amount of time. He also locked and struck a person because he said "You're an idiot", when the preceding sentance was making people aware that he was talking to himself.
6. His IQ equal to a garden hose.

Last time I checked, "Yes" and "No" don't mean the same thing.
So, there it is. He's not "The only mod that does his job", he's the only one that makes a big deal about it when he does. |
If you wish to enter the arena of verbal combat Plastic, then so be it. I must explicitly warn you though, it is my forte. We shall indeed see whose IQ can be equated to that of a garden hose's, shan't we? |

Plastic, I don't agree completely.
I fear have to correct all of you.
Popple isn't the only who who does his job correctly.
He's the only one that does his job, and since he has the feeeling nobody else does, he does it as much as he sees fit. Maybe he wants the best, maybe not, who knows ? I personally think that Digibutter needs no spam. There are forums without a spam underforum running smoothly without their members being asses, aside from the occasional troll. I think Digibutter should be more strict on ani-spam rules, and even if it seems to be a source of amusement, there shouldn't be at least that much of less-mindless spam.
I say, no bad spam and less "good" spam.
And the public itself has no view on what the mods do. That's why I said we need a sort of "Mod Activity chart" that shows which mod did what. Make the system more visible top the public. Else we're like a totalitarian state- Dictator Francis and his secret mod police. I do not think like that, at the moment at least, but the whole thing is pretty damn ambiguous.
My personal experience is that I have never seen anyone but Popple lock a Topic and say he did so and why. Topics are just locked. I don't think Chaos or Plastic have ever locked something and at least posted "Locked." (because ... is optional but a nice touch.) TSSG3, I think, did that one time.
So, we need a more see-through system.
And I agree, in the end it's Francis decision, although he should at least consider how we, the "population" of the "state" of Digibutter vote.
Because sadly even Francis ain't Lord Vetinari, the only dictator that ever was really good. |

That wouldn't work. Also, this is a democratic state. Where would we go if any decision is made by only Francis ? He might be a nice chap, but there might also be disagreements, and it'd be dumb if his option, if there'd be options would be chosen if our option would be better, or more popular. |

RP Characters aren't seperate accounts. They don't have their own post counts, don't have their own HP and MP, don't have their own coins, you can't post with them except in about 4 forums, can't PM people or recieve PM's, and you don't log in to each one seperately. |
