Have you ever gotten away with getting a store-bought game for free? |
Yeah, but my friend gave it to me. |

I haven't, nor ever will I... and I'll tell you why if you care.
Until then let's get a poll... how many of you steal money from developers by pirating their games? |

I see most of the older ROMs as okay, because those things are old and aren't sold in stores.
Then the wii started selling games for the virtual console... |

I tend to just focus on hacks of games that I already have. JonBound is a pretty good one. |

M'aiq was tempted to pirate the PC version of Oblivion.
(He HAS the 360 one, would it really be that bad?)
But he decided not to. |

I hate piracy of games, because I plan to be part of a game developing crew in the future.
MAKING a game is a hell of a lot of time and money... to have thousands and sometimes MILLIONS of people just steal this thing that your developing team put so much work, so much time, so much effort, and so much MONEY into... it's just so... WRONG! |

I honestly believe that Nintendo should have some kind of thing for the virtual console that wold allow you to submit hacks of different games for others to try out. There are some pretty fun hacks of various game roms that are worth playing. |

I've stolen from Popcap only once because I refuse to have to pay for a simple game like Chuzzle. That's all I've ever done, and I've deleted the files since then.
Now, my music.... |

I do it quite often. While it's technically illegal, I only tend to download old computer games you can't find anymore. I have a Mac, so finding games is already hard, and my computer is too old for newer games, but I still pretty much only pirate old stuff. I also buy my music, not much pirating there. |

I hate how people call it "piracy" or "pirating". One isnt "stealing" anything. You will not get in trouble for theft. You are only violating copyright law. |

I once pirated a song that Weird Al Yankovic wrote. It was "Don't Download This Song". |
