First off, there's a rumor that your guy stays the same no matter how you move. Nope. As you walk, the arms move and such. So the drawing IS still stable.
The plot is amazing...ish. It's not amazing, but the moment I started playing, I thought of Pokemon mystery dungeon. It is alot like that game. See, you're a hero who came to save a place. Sound familliar? It's a 2d platformer. Your guy is not well drawn in a world of good graphics. (Unless you pwn with the drawing, but noone really is. XP...) The soundtrack is good at times, but at others it reminds me of Link's awakening. Which is on gameboy color.
Back to the plot, the ending is like pokemon mystery dungeon's. But not really.... the exact same. It's sad enough to make a teenager cry, in the same sense as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. The hero doesn't leave, but Jowee leaves on a pirate ship... Just like link XP And to add on to that, it plays a sad song, like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. But not just ANY sad song, it has lyrics to add to the sadness! D:... but just like pokemon mystery dungeon, the hero in mystery dungeon, this game being Jowee, comes back.)
The graphics are pretty good for a DS game. I don't really require a 3D game anyway, especially on DS. But how it goes from platformer to above site is nice. Your drawings are terrible graphics, but that's your fault. XP.
Gameplay is alittle difficult at times. You have to find three raposa, and four templates in each level to procede. And the later levels, when you lose your shooter/kick where you have to fight with a sword is a LITTLE overly hard. You can't jump on enemies, and all you can do is use your swords, which without correct timing, you'll lose health, and you can only be hit five times anyway, not like being hit is common in the early levels.
All the bosses have something to do with banjo tooie, or the Zelda series.
If you consider bosses spoilers, skip over this until you see the red text.
The first boss, frostwind is alot like the frosty dragon in Banjo Tooie.
The second boss, Deadwood the giant evil tree, is alot like the Great Tree in Ocorina of Time, with an opening mouth that you use to get in. Ofcourse, this tree is evil, and not noble.
The third boss, angler king. Looks almost exactly like the Angler Fish boss in Banjo Tooie.
The Fourth boss, Wilfre is the only unique one. BUT he has a pet scorpion, which looks exactly like the one in A Link To the Past.
Well, the drawing is unique, so you can't expect unique bosses.
*red text* I give this game a 7.8 |

It's a good review, but I think you shouldn't put spoilers, not even in tags. But that's just my opinion... |

I was to lazy at that moment really, and Bosses are never spoilers for me. Hell, if you know the spoilers, you aren't supposed to highlight those tags ya know. |

You don't see Gamespot or IGN revealing important plot pieces.
I'm not angry or anything, I'm just giving a pointer. |
