Super Mario Galaxy: Easy without codes.

They're not getting easier, you're getting better. Think about it. in old games you could beat in a course of, say, 5-10 minutes. In old games bosses were often the same as before. And there wasn't a good perspective on cheats. Looking back at what I just said, I pretty much described a classic, Super Mario Bros: The game was short, you could beat it in five to ten minutes. All of the bosses were the same: Just jump on the flagpole. And, of course, who could forget warp zone.
See how one of the best classics was made to be incredibly easy? It doesn't stop there. SMB3 follows a similar scheme. And now today we have some very difficult games....

While a lot of older games are more difficult that current games (just look at some of the older Kirby games vs. the current ones),
newer games can still be challenging (and are usually longer).

I think games are getting easier. Too easy that they're boring. I can beat Kirby; Squeak Squad in maybe less than a day, because it's so easy. It was also pretty boring, the storyline wasn't all that great and it was just a really lame rip off of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. Even Super Mario Galaxy is really easy; a lot of people talk about how they've already gotten 120 stars with Mario, and it just recently came out. I've noticed that there's a lot of older games that take me months to beat, because they're harder, but I continue playing them because they're actually pretty interesting. That's why I wish they would re-make Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal; because I honestly think that was the best Pokemon game ever. But, they'd probably mess it up anyways and make it way too easy, so I don't really know whether or not I want G/S/C to be re-made or not. My point is that I really think that video games are just getting to be way too easy. It'd be nice to have an actually challenging game with all these awesome new graphics that they can put into games.

Yet at the same time I could've beaten Super Mario 64 with my hands behind my back.
