How about this;
An equip-able item that prevents disease (Or rather for this case, Vampireism or the T virus) but the people can still attack you.
Also, a silver knife (WW) a wooden stake (V) or a pill (TV) could be used to nullify the damage and effect from their respective counterparts. |

How about Francis just makes an item that makes the user unable to attack or heal, but makes them completely invincible to all attacks? Like a Boo Mushroom or a Metal Cap. |

What is was planning was an item you use on yourself, and you can't just unequip it. Once you use it, it's gone and you're invincible. You can go back to normal with a Monster Cure, but then you have to pay 50 or so coins to turn invincible again. Anyway, I think you brought up a good issue. I have an idea: after you use it once, you can't use it again for another 48 hours, and you can't use it period if you've healed or attacked anyone in the last 48 hours. |

If you just stay a Vampire, nobody's going to bite you. Because they can't. There's no downsides to being a Vampire, either. Also, go ahead and kill the people who bite users for no reason. I'd do it myself, but I have no idea who any of them are. |
