So, Nintencast apparently got a letter from RedOctane stating that

Now, assuming this is true, this is great news not only for Guitar Hero, but for future games as well. We know that games can access the SD card, so I am not concerned about storage space.. but rather the fact that there exists the possibility for purchasing new content to download to the Wii, via WiiWare or through a third party in-game interface or whatever. |

Likely, this won't be possible till after wiiware is available. Thing is, GHIII for Wii, unlike the others, doesn't even have a DLC song list, unless it's hidden until DLC songs are noticed by the game. |

Okay, back to seriosuness - are they going to restrict the use of DLC to your Wii or your code or something ? Will it cost ?

Same thing they do with VC titles... their main reason they aren't giving out DLC now is that Nintendo isn't helping them cuz they dunno how Wii DLC works. |
