I have Boktai 1 and 2, and since Lunar Knights really isn't a Boktai game, I want to get Boktai 3. The only problem is that it's Japan-only, and I can't read Japanese. Other people have beaten the game, but I don't know if they knew Japanese or were just lucky.
I don't want to use a guide, because all I want is to understand the text. The actual images aren't Japanese, so I can figure out everything else myself.
So... Should I get it? Or not? |

Lunar Knights is in a way a Boktai game. I heard they just changed the name because the Boktai franchise isn't very popular outside of Japan. You should get it. It may not have the exact same feel as the others but it's still a great game. I bought it recently and I've been playing it constantly. It's challenging but very addictive. |

It was a good game though.
I'm a Boktai fan all the way, but Lunar Knights can't make up for Boktai 3 not coming to the states. |

Maybe someone can do an English Translation, much like how they're doing for Mother 3. |

And even then, the translations are often terrible. I remember that my friend had a rom for a Japanese-only game, and the translation used shorthand wherever possible, like instead of saying "before" it would say "b4". |

supposedly, in the Japanese version of the game, Aaron's name is Django and Lucian's name is Sabata, SSSS-BOOM. also, I agree with the bolded statement 100%. |

If I'm not mistaken, Aaron's father's name was Trinity. |

Even though Aaron is called Django and Lucian is called Sabata in Japan... Just take a look at the way they look. Lucian is semi-close to Sabata, but Aaron =/= Django. |

The funny thing about Lunar Knights is that the character is named Aaro, and his special Terrenial is called Toasty. One of my best friends is named Aaron, and his screen name and username for games is Toasty.
I think it's hilarious. |

Lunar Knights is better than Boktai. You don't need to freakin sun to play it. |

Mhh Any possibility of a Fanslation? | The story in Boktai is a lot better than Lunar Knights, I like the characters a lot more, and I think the sunlight factor is awesome. Lunar Knights is the lazier, younger brother that won't go outside because he fears the sun. |
