What, in your opinion, is the biggest downfall of Galaxy?

In my opinion, the camera is a huge problem. When coupled with the controls... ugh.

It rewrites the laws of physics, and obeys them in some levels, and disobeys them in all the rest. (Toy time does not = good egg.)

And the camera is just horrible.

I could deal with the camera...
I think there is a way to fix the camera too...

Anyway...

Most of the levels are beyond difficult, and the filler ( Manta surfing etc etc ) level's controls were WAY too touchy.

Camera and swimming in water. I never could seem to position the camera the way I wanted to, and as for swimming underwater, I couldn't turn very easily...but then again, I've had that problem in all 3 games, so mabey I just suck.

It's odd how I could at least stand all of the problems listed here. Lack of gravity was just another exploration - not like lives mattered or anything, right? Swimming, while not exactly "good", was MUCH better than Sunshine's swimming, and the shells really helped with that. The camera in Sunshine was 100% manual, which was extremely difficult (especially the genius who made the "fix camera" button the same one as the Ground Pound button). I've only struggled with Galaxy's camera two or three times max, and one time I was actually able to fix the angle. The camera is much better than Galaxy's predecessors.

3 HP...honestly, you guys are complaining about MORE of a challenge? Even MORE reason to strive toward your goals? Honestly, the less HP you have, the better you play in a platformer...except Super Mario Bros 2, but that game is just wierd. I've noticed that I played Super Mario 64 a lot worse than Sunshine, due to the fact that I could heal by diving in any waist-deep body of water. And I played better in Sunshine when the annoying "Sun Meter" was yelling at me to get more coins.

The biggest complaint, which I'm suprised no one has set yet, is bosses. Honestly, all I can say is...Bouldergiest, Dino Piranha, and Kingfin were the only ones who really fit their areas in difficulty. Kamella, King Kaliente, Bowser, Megaleg, Junior, Bugaboom, Topomaniac, Mecha-Bowser...all pretty much jokes. Baron Brrr was okay, but he could've been better if he were above a bottomless pit rather than an ice pillar surrounded by ice water. And Major Burrows...he was okay, but simple once you figured out his pattern (which took five minutes).

And that's my rant.

Bowser is not too hard, but isn't easy. The boulder attack requires timing to dodge and strike.

Easier than it was to dodge and strike him in Super Mario World, which I still find very easy.

I never found the camera being a huge problem, and when it was I could just change it anyway.

I think that the bosses should have had more life, many of them just had 3, like Mario. It would have been more challenging if they had about 6 hitpoints and got faster/stronger/whatevah with every hit. I can't imagine how frustrated, yet happy about the challenge I would be from the daredevils then...
