It would seem that pretty much everything died or was destroyed in the black hole, then the Lumas formed together to re-create everything, and Mario shouts WELCOME! WELCOME NEW GALAXY! to welcome the new unverse the Lumas created. Yes, that means Mario died and was "re-born"(Rosalina DOES say that the stardust makes up all life: including yourselves). As for the "never repeats itself in the same way" thing....we'll just have to wait and see....according to Rosalina. Yes, it's dark, but you gotta admit the ending was pretty epic! |
