I'm sick of the flaming pervert hole this site we once claimed to be awesome has become. I FLIPPING POST A QUESTION ASKING IF THERE'S A POKEMON FAD IN OFF-TOPIC AND GET CALLED A RETARD FOR IT. And, I really don't have any friends on here either.

There's a reason I never go on here, it's because it's not worth it. And, the only way you can be somewhat well-recieved is if you post a meme in every other topic, spam, act like an idiot, and be a pervert.

That's how I do it, and I am respected and liked.

It is true this site does need some cleanup, perhaps more rules should be issued to OT, but otherwise, let it be.

You need to find the group that fits you and try fitting in. This will get you some respects and show the members that you, and I quote, are "valuable."

That being said I'm going to help you by listing the groups we have here on Digibutter and some of the people you need to pay attention to to fit in. I'm probably completely wrong and drunk though, so if you think I'm spouting nonsense you are probably right.

OT is the spam forum. Members like Mama Luigi, Flavio, and Lord Bowser (When he is on) are the member to watch to learn whats going on here. It's definitely not for those who can't take some negativity, but it does have a sort of subculture the rest of the forum does not and it can be a fun experience and an easy way to earn respect if you do something "Epic."

RPOT is similar to OT in that it has it's own culture. The problem is it's little secluded and you will have to work to fit in. It's basically casual role play and you need to establish yourself before people will accept you and start taking plots you may create more seriously. Mentors here include Maya Fey, TotallySpaceshipGuy3, and Mona.

Then you got the creative kiddies. They aren't really a unified group, but if you have any sort of artistic skill then it is the quickest and best way to earn a large amount of respect. You won't meet many friends here, but you will end up very popular in the other groups which will help you meet people. The Role Play is also kind of a creative forum, but it's still not very active () so you may not want to devote time to it. Mentors are frozenwinters, Medikoopa, and Tyler.

Then you have the gamers, which is the hardcore crew that hangs out in the gaming forums. You can meet people here easily, especially if you join the games they are playing. You probably won't earn respect in the other forums, but if you want to meet people hang out here. Mentors are Fancy Wario, Altair, and Francis. And as an added bonus if you have Second Life, Guild Wars, or Xbox Live there are already ready made communities of gamers for you to play with.

Finally comes teh serious businezz people. These are the people that make really long walls of text in General Discussion, Feedback, and sometimes other forums that state their opinions as well as other important things people sometimes care about. It can earn you respect, but also get you hated. It's really a risk reward system because you never know what the opinions of other people are and if they may take up arms against you should yours not be in their favor. Mentors are Lord Crump, and I can't think of anymore because I'm lazy and bored of typing this.

Anyway so scale of one to dipshit on forums you should go on if you want major respectz.
