I can't find the hidden star in Deep Dark Galaxy. I've looked everywhere, and I still can't find it. Help please?

... you CAN'T find it? Wow. It was the first star I found there, and it took me a while to find the first star there. o.o
Anyway, when you reach the bottom of the pool of water or whatever, there's a ship stuck in the ground with some things floating around it. Grab a shell, and hit any of the things with it and it'll explode, causing the ship to explode along with the other things. Use the Sling Star there and it's pretty straight forward. |

This was a very tough one for me to figure out, too. I never would have fired a shell towards that ship if it weren't for a lucky glimpse of something bright (the sling star) through a small crack where the boat halve meets the bottom of the lake. |

Yeah, there's a ship way down where guppy was, and it's surrounded by mines. just hit them with a shell.
Then, you'll fly into that giant rotating puzzle box O_O |

That galaxy is impossible. I can't even find the second star; I just beat the guy in the tank, visit all the planets, then I'm stuck. |

fire mario/luigi + fire pillars = LIGHT THE FIRE AND OPEN THE GATE?
Yeah. yeah. and if there's 3 pillars, light all three. yeah. except, if you're playing as luigi, you can just flip up onto there instead of using ice mario. |
