OT is the dump. We've blown it up once. We can do it again... then make a new one... with a different name.
We'll probably just end up getting a new one. We could also just look forward to nerr 2.0. |

How bout, from now on, OT receives regular refreshes? Like weekly, or perhaps more realistically, every month. |

As much as I, TSSG3, and pretty much all the moderating staff (not to mention half of the members here) would love to see that Grambi-forsaken forum destroyed, how will that solve a problem? All it will do is force the creation of a forum like it, but slightly stricter. Of course, many will ignore this, chaos will resume, blah, blah, you see where this is going.
I feel we've dug too deep in the well to find the light at the top of the hole. Instead of making Francis do an effort that'll only work temporarily, why don't we just stop the problem cold turkey? Mods will enforce the rules harder if most members start showing signs of not spamming. That way, we're both fufilling our responsibilities as members of digibutter, and no chaos and protests and leavings have to happen for worthwile members. |

I love Off-Topic. It's pretty much the only place I can go to and just discuss whatever. However, the spam is getting annoying, but just killing the whole forum won't solve a darn thing. |

Like Mr. I said, killing and then reviving it will do nothing. And if we actually decide to nuke it permanently and not replace it, Digibutter would suddenly feel overly strict with General Discussion being the only place to post non-gaming/non-creation-related/non-media stuff. Digibutter would sank into a state of eternal emoness. |

Make a Talk Time forum. Talk about whatever you want with out spam, perversion, or flame. And if some one breaks the rules 5 times in the forum they get booted out for a week. |

I kind of like that, but Talk Time sounds stupid. Keep it Off-Topic. |

Dump 2.0 would be hidden, and only appear to people who joined a usergroup for it. That way, it wouldn't bug everyone.
RPOT should be added to the same section as OT, and a Casual RP would be created to replace it. |

:| Nuking off topic will destroy all topics inside.
After every week, the topics that haven't been replied to for a week gets deleted |

Mister I had good points. Nuking it and rebuilding it will not solve the problem. Maybe more strict rules will help. Maybe keeping it gone will help. People are abusing the "talk about what you want" thing. Perhaps if it was gone, people would talk more about other stuff.
I plan on trying to bring more attention to other forums. However, this will require more teamwork.
Also, we should start another Digibutter war. That will allow users to know each other better, and be in a different forum other than OT. |

You get rid of OT and 1/2 digi leaves. Then spam flows over into GD and then to everywhere else,, |
