I mostly used Mario as my character, only because I was used to him since the beginning and he is the only one who can flip when you need to unlock something or solve a puzzle. I mean bowser is too slow and I don't want to use the Bowser/Carrie combination. It felt weird playing as Luigi since he is usually an outcast to the series, I mean come on, how many games has Luigi had
beside Luigi's Mansion. Peach was the character I probably used the least, even though show does have that umbrella that protects against anything. Sometimes I would even find myself in a situation where it only required a certain character and I forgot they were in my party. If I were a selectable character I would use myself the whole game considering I would defeat every boss in one hit using my trusty paper Z-Saber.

I had a problem, I used Bowser...
I had a boss, I used Bowser...
I had a new enemy, I used Bowser...
I beat the game, and I finished off the Pit with Bowser...
Which of course means I used Luigi the most. (lol at the people who believed that until right now) |

Bowser and Luigi (When I had him) unless I needed Mario. I think they over did the flipping thing. You had to constantly switch back to Mario, see? |

Double post? and also, I know Bowser isn't Italian. But have you heard Luigi's voice? That doesn't sound truly Italian like his brother's if you ask me. |

Rather than fully charging his jump, luigi can hit some dumber enemies with a single "fold" when doing the +down. It's good for taking on hogarithms and stuff that charges at you if you lose hold of them when they're at full HP.
But bowser has the floro trick  |

I used Mario the most, probably because I flipped into 3D on like every screen. Luigi's pretty cool too, but he has that annoying hover boot effect where he doesn't stop exactly when you want him to. And he can't flip.
Then Bowser is totally not agile enough for me. I do use him against the Sammer Guys, though.
Peach is ok, but...meh. |
