I'll be offline from noon to roughly 6 pm or 7 EST.
Why?
I'm meeting up with my friend Aaron today.
The downside to this is that CD is getting back to Dimentio-themed chaos and I'm part of several RPs which will probably press on while I'm gone...
We didn't really plan on what we'll be doing. We'll meet up at a comic store - its easier that way - and from there go do whatever.
The comic store is right next to a Ben & Jerry's, close by a movie theater. The theater is across the street from a Fresh Field's (sushi!) and THAT is across the street from a McDonalds (cheap food!). A couple blocks away is an arcade. It has a bunch of games I've never heard of before (case in point: this weird fighter which has a teenage boy with black hair in an Asian high-school uniform who fights with a knife) and it had Halo 3 playable at 50 cents for 15 minutes. Online, Multiplayer, OR Solo.
The comic store itself has loads of comics and apparently some new things are coming on its shelves!
The whole place is about 20 blocks away from my house, and he (surprisingly) lives about 10 blocks away from me. So... we can just walk home.
Wow... I spent 18 minutes writing all this... |

Back, but COLD!
We went to the comic store. He got two comics, I got 'Bluntman and Chronic' (points to anyone who gets the reference). We went to the Fresh Grocer with interest in getting sushi. We decided to go get McDonalds. After lunch, we went to the arcade. There were some new fighters. We played Soul Caliber 3, a couple shooters, a racing game (I beat him), and a weird Japanese fighter (something about angels, playable teenage girls with giant tits and magic, and cards).
After we were done at the arcade, we decided to check out the theater to see if anything good was on. No luck. So, after I got something from the Fresh Grocer, we started to head on home... before we stopped at Ben & Jerry's. I got Creme Bruele. Then we went on our merry way. Our hands became icicles in spite of our gloves, which annoyed us to no end. |
