Is this possible? I doubt it, but...

It would be interesting, I think, if we had a forum that you click and visit, and it would be a pictochat, built into Digibutter. Members could communicate via drawing and the live chat inside.

Again, I'm not sure if this is possible... it's just a fantasy of mine!

I'm not quite sure that there's room. We already have a regular chat. We may have to take it out if we wanted a pictochat.

I was thinking about that. If doing this was possible, and didn't completely eat up our bandwidth, why not? We don't need two chats, and I think an embedded pictochat would be an improvement... plus much more fun.

I've been thinking about making a chat via flash. Perhaps I could try to add this...

I have considered recreating Pictochat online. Instead of typing your post, you would draw it Smile

As for having a collaborative drawing thing, I have yet to find a good program for doing that... and even so it would probably be too resource intensive to do myself. Maybe there is an embeded drawing-chat thing out there somewhere?

Nope, can't put that on this site. Even if I had all the code, that particular flash is probably using adobe flash media interactive server software, which costs almost $5000

Hmm, perhaps a Javascript application with a SWF embedded? All you need to do is edit the value so every time you make a stroke, its like sending a chat message. Just a small idea...

It wouldn't be that difficult.
Why else do you think we'd want the feature in the first place?
