Yep, the MIDI site everyone knows about.

M'aiq finds it to be a great place to find MIDI versions of some songs, but everyone seems to have been focusing too much on Legend of Zelda TP for a while.

After numerous requests, M'aiq hasn't seen a SINGLE MIDI made from Oblivion, Kameo, or Viva Pinata. The music in those games is definatly as good as the music in TP.

It can be a bit frustrating when you ask for an excellent song to be MIDI'd, only to be ignored, while the guy who asks for Theme A from TP gets their songs done in about 3 days.

They really need to shift gears. LoZ TP music is practically done now, plenty of the songs have been put into the archive numerous times. Why not move on to other games already? One of the reasons M'aiqs 'Project P' is on hold is because they flat out ignored his music requests.

Discuss VGMusic further if you wish.

Viva Pinata wasn't very good IMPO, and I donno what Kameo is. But I am not against your claim. However, unless you have a good soundcard or soundtable, or the midi song is really really good, midi's will always sound abysmal. And why listen to midi's when a wav or mp3 isn't being any trouble?

BYOND only properly supports MIDIs. MP3 files crash games, and WAV files take forever (like 4 minutes) to upload. In fact, most game making programs out there support MIDIs and WAVs, it's just that the online causes drawbacks on the upload/download part.

Viva Pinata is a great game once you pass level 21, since it stops holding your hand there.

Kameo: Elements of Power was a 360 launch title by RARE. Excellent game that deserves a sequal.

If you really want to listen to music from Kamoe to see what M'aiq means, look here.

Not all MIDI work is bad. Look at Super Ghouls N' Ghosts under SNES, there is a guy who has made near-perfect emulations of most of the stage songs.

Good work on a game that has GOT to be one of, if not THE hardest game in existence.

M'aiqs brother was a master at hard games for some reason. He could blow through it in no time.

(The only problem he had, M'aiq thinks, was against the secret final boss or something.)

Man, same thing as my best friend, who is now 25. He has beaten every game he's played, including some truly tough ones, like Contra, Super Contra, Silver Surfer, and Ghosts n' Goblins. His record only has two games unbeaten: Zelda II The Adventure of Link, and Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts.
