I know this is discussed in the weekly update thread... but I felt that this deserved its own discussion topic because it is that awesome.
There will be time-limited demos of these classic games:
Ice Climber
Super Mario Bros.
The Legend of Zelda
Kid Icarus
Kirby's Adventure
Super Metroid
Star Fox 64
and even more not listed!
some even include save data to start a certain point, like the Ridley boss fight in Super Metroid.
Also of note, the Japan page lists these additional games...
Fire Emblem
Mother 2
Does this mean that no translation was attempted to bring these games to the English world??? 
This is something Nintendo should have done for the Virtual Console service. Hopefully this doesnt rule out that possiblity in the future
Whats next... create your smash bros. mii character with even more customization options? |

I wish the US version would have Mother 2 and Fire Emblem..since both are awsum.
by the way, since each character in brawl will have a game, does this further confirm Marth and Ness? |

I doubt every character will be represented, probably just one game per series. And some series, like Pikmin, may not be available at all. |
