Don't you just hate it when you spend literally HOURS of effort endeavering to get through this seemingly impossible course, only to fall off the edge of the Star Platform, to your undeserved demise? Not only to endure the sheer blinding rage of failing such an impossible level when you had accomplished it, at last, but to have the massive, insulting bold text of "TOO BAD" flashing in your face, mocking you for your idiocy!
This happened on that cursed Rolling Gizmo Galaxy....
Whoever invented that level...deserves to be kicked into the pit where it BURNS for all eternity...
I get to the final platform after 70+ attempts, set my eyes on the glorious award for my achievement and leap towards it. I then decide to ride the flag pole to celebrate my triumpth, I slide up, extend my legs at the top and leap....OFF THE SIDE OF THE PLATOFRM TO MY DOOM....
TOO BAD!
You can imagine my reponse to this blasphemic mockery... :]

A similar thing happened to me in Bubble Blast. I was near the end, just to discover an electric wall. Oh well, at least that one was relaxing. |

I like to do long jumps into the stars. When I finally beat toy time purple coins, I long jumped off the edge.

Its happend to me in other games to, like Banjo-Kazooie. You're right in front of that jiggy when...BONK! some terrydactl pushed me off the cliff to my doom.

I didn't think the bubble-riding, rolling, or surfing levels were that hard 
In fact, I went in expecting to die a lot, and only ended up dying a few times each.
Maybe I really am a good player... |

Got 100 and went to the star and felt so victorious, I did a stylish back flip to get the star.
... Only to fall off the edge.

I'm at the top of the spire in Melty Molten Galaxy's daredevil mission, and about to break the star when the flaming rock enemy notices me. I decide "Oh crap, he's going to kill Mario" so I try to disable it and Mario randomly decides not to respond to me frantically flying the Wiimote in every direction at 5000x lightspeed. Boom. Dead. Grr. |
