Like, you were a member of a website that existed for a long time, and then suddenly you find out one day that it's gone? Has that ever happened to you?

Well, it happened to me recently. There was this website called The Valley of Nightmares (no, it wasn't scary at all.). I've been a member at the forums and oekaki of that website for about 3 years. I've been there ever since it started. Recently, the main site and the oekaki ran out of bandwidth or something, and the owner isn't going to fix it....the only part left is the forum. But all the members at the forum just post pointless crap now, and it's not like it was before...it makes me all sad inside because I've been a part of that community for like 3 years and now it's falling apart. ;_; I'm really going to miss that website....

.....I hope it's not weird that I'm sad about a website going down. x_o;

I used to go to a smw-hacking forum, but now they have locked it. you can still look around in the site and PM, but the main forums are locked.

The first KWRPG forums died when "Topicgeddon" came around, all posts mysteriously vanished. Topicgeddon was made to commemorate it, but died off when the new KWRPG boards came around.

Miiboard, I was one of the original members there, Along with Ratedrko, The site was just growing, and it was fun, then Wee-man came back, and started spamming, which caused a spam fad.

Like the one who posted this thread, I used to go to Valley of Nightmares, but the site went down. I didn't notice it until they posted in the forums that survived.

Aditionally, I have been to a couple of other sites that died, although one of them actually got fused with other one.

This happened to me on a pokemon RP site cuz of spammers a god-modders. We had to go on maitence to restart everything but there was never any progress. We made a new site but we haven't started RPing on it. It basically died D:
