you guys all know the post rating system... what if 2 coins were removed from them for every negative rating, and 1 coin is added for every positive one?
It will encourage good, non-spam posts, and discourage lame, spammy posts. |

Bad idea. More of a reason to abuse the post quality system. Anybody you don't like, you drain all of their coins. |

There was an old forum that I went to that had a "Karma" system. You can pretty much vote on one person every hour or something, positive or negative. Everyone's karma would display under their avatar (+1 for positive votes, -1 for negative votes).
It wouldn't earn us any coins, but we wouldn't lose any either. |

I've seen the word "karma" used a lot of places, though. I don't really think anyone will be offended or consider it a religious thing. |
