Metroid is underrepresented.
1.5 characters for 8th best-selling Nintendo franchise overall + 3 characters for one that isn't even in the top ten = DOES NOT COMPUTE
And this isn't even taking the fact that Metroid has started selling better into account. |

Metroid's always kinda been about the lone Samus, taking on the galaxy, blah blah, etc.
The only possibility for another Metroid character would be someone from MPH, maybe. |

Not necessarily.
-Ridley (they put him in as a boss, for whatever reason)
-Dark Samus
-Torizo (people supported it for some time on Gamefaqs, and it certainly has a possible moveset)
And, if worst comes to worst, they could always put in a generic Space Pirate - or even a not-so-generic one. After all, there was only one Pirate Commander in Metroid Prime 3, and only a few Kung-Fu Pirates in Super Metroid. |

I still fail to see the facts for that.
And, all that aside. How many Characters from Metroid can honestly be in the game?
The entire game is based principally around a Lone Wolf futuristic Warrior Woman who does this that and the other thing.
She has no allies, only really big enemy monsters.
I'm impressed they got creative with the Zero Suit Samus deal, and be fair, she is a completely unique character.
If anything Falco, who is a clone, is only worth Half a character. |
