Nice. So, drawing in Oekaki is pretty much just like drawing in MS Paint?

Um, well, in the digibutter oekaki CHAT it is....but in a real oekaki, it's not.

Digibutter is pretty much the only place I've heard the term used before, so I'll just take your advice. >_>

Sorry if I sounded rude. D: But in the chat, it's basically a canvas that everyone online can draw on. Like in the name, you can chat with the other people online. It's a lot like using MSPaint, except with a few extra features, like chatting and using watercolors...in a real oekaki, it's like a community. Kind of like a forum. But instead of topics, you post pictures. And instead of posts/replies, there's comments. In the oekaki programs (there's 4 that I know of; ShiPainter, ShiPainterPro, PaintBBS, and Oekaki BBS. I use ShiPainter.), you draw your own picture. It has a lot more tools than the oekaki chat. You can use layers, a few different kinds of brushes, some different kinds of erasing tools, and a whole lot more. And plus, it works a whole lot better than the Oekaki chat. It's faster, and easier to draw with the programs. Another good thing about real oekakis is that you can actually sign up and have your own account, and you can make a profile (you can even have a 50x50 avater). you don't have to type your name in everytime you go to it.

....wow, I feel like I'm advertising something. xD Weird.

Well the Digi Paint Chat has 2 color masks and opacity. Pretty simple. I don't use real oekaki that much.

For a split second I thought she had a pink beard.
I like the sketchyness of it.

xD I guess I should remember to draw that strand of hair differently so it doesn't look like she has a pink beard...
