I just saw it today. Unfortunatly the theater was small.
By the end I had a really bad headache that I had to sleep off :<.
Otherwise it was okay as far as monster movies go.

So, I just got back from seeing it...
The shaky camera made me a bit dizzy at first, but I got used to it by the time the monster actually showed up. I was slightly disappointed that there was no explanation for why the monster wanted to destroy New York, but then again none of the characters in the film knew what was going on either. Also the ending kinda sucked. But I enjoyed the film anyway.
I saw a trailer for Iron Man before the movie started. Now that looks awesome.

I went to see it (with Creepy Mario) and I loved it. It was very good, however, it actually had no plot, and was an easy moneymaker.
First of all, they only needed one camera, for the whole movie.
The movie actually has the dumbest. plot. ever. And it works.
So a giant monster is suddenly in New York. Ok thats great.
The whole movie consits of the 5 main people running away and all over the place. Spoilers ahead that complety prove my point.

So these 5 people are in NY and the giant monster suddenly shows up. No reason, just there. The people run and run and all that jazz. One dies. They run s'more, another dies, One person gets bit by a crab thing, dies. then they run to try and rescue on of the persons Girlfriend's. They rescue her. They get to some helicopters, one has to get on alone, I'm pretty sure she dies. Then 3 people are on one helichopper when the nuke the creature, assumed dead, it jumps up and knocks down the plane. So they crash, all get out. Someone forgot the camera and he gets eaten, dead. Then there are two. They decide to hide in a tunnel, both are hurt. They record "my name is... idk what is happening" all that stuff. Then an explosion goes off, the camera is buried, you hear them scream "I LOVE YOU' then another explosion and they are dead. SO all the main characters die, you never find out if the monster, or we win. and you never know where it came from So you see. no real plot.
But i still loved it.
