Are you afraid of... Death?
I have a horrible, paralyzing fear of pain, and definately don't want to die, but I'm not exactly afraid of death. If there's something life-threatening coming at me... I'm more worried if I'm going to live and suffer a lot than death. Yet, I'd still choose to live through pain than to end my life.
It's difficult to put into words. |

A lot of people fear the unknown...
I've wondered what it'd be like to be dead, and unknowing. But then you wouldn't know what it's like, to be unknowing. It all just.... ends. The electrical wiring in your brain, your heart, the system itself shuts down... and then there is nothing. And you can't feel.
... I dunno. I may gladly join Death when I've made enough positive difference in the world. |

Well, it depends. I don't want to die before I make a good change in this world, and I don't want to live and suffer either, however. |

I am afraid of death; but, well, I mean my body is. If my body and mind thought the same way, I would have no fear of death. |

I don't want to die, but I am not afraid of death. If I were take my life for someone I probably didn't even know, I'll still do it. |

Death doesn't scare me, because I plan to die or be close to death in high school anyway.
Some guy with a gun, hires some nerd and he puts all these saw like traps all over the school. Of course students fall into those traps, but some of us are smart. So the guy with the gun comes in, and starts beating people to death. Some people hide, and don't get found, but I get chased, and I either fall into a pit which takes me to the basement where I can escape, or I get stabbed in the throat and *cragged*. :D
I've put a lot of thought into this subject. >.> |

O_o...
That was both creepy and epic at the same time.
I'm not afraid of dying, just...HOW I die. I don't want to die slowly and painfully. I'd hope for either a quick and painless death, or to die in my sleep or something. :| I also wouldn't want to die before I actually make a difference in the world...or at least within my family or school. |

I am skittish when it comes to death... but if it ever came down to it, I would probably sacrifice myself for the greater good. It all depends on the situation... |

Personally, I'd like to die by being attacked by a rapist. It's more dramatic that way. |

When I was young, and when we were younger children, we probably never thought of death, as a big deal. I was one of those people. I thought death was easy, and wouldn't be bad.
Though, when I entered high school, a teacher tought us about death, and made us think about it for five minutes. It then seemed like, "what does happen during and after death?" What will we do forever? Just...does anything happen that occupies us forever? Though, I wouldn't really understand any of this now, we'll just have to wait.
Also, if I were to die, a death, I would probably like to die of old age. It's been a goal, probably not a possible goal, that I'd like to live to the age of 100, and maybe even higher. We will never know what will happen, but I'm willing to die for someone else. |

My view: If there isn't an afterlife (my primary belief is that heaven exists, however), I always thought that after death would be like before birth. Your mind is in a state of, well, non-existance, I guess. It's hard to explain the idea. |
