Name tags changed names looooong ago.
Long long looooong ago. Now people PM francis asking for their name change.
Well, new people get the only ones anymore, and they get... >.> One.
Atleast that's the way it was somewhere around when I joined, or a little earlier. (I researched joined dates and Formerly:_________# to make this hypothesis) But anyway, Name changes don't work anymore. I SAW Francis was viewing his Private messages after I asked. He MUST have seen it.
On Twytch's part, he wants to be Pa-patch. I know better than to freaking spam Francis, but he didn't and he apperantly got Caps lock attacked by Francis in Off Toppic.
I just think it's not fair that even the people who think they COMPLETELY screwed up on their first name, doing just some random character they liked or something, should get ONE chance to make it better. I really am sick of being Glitz. I haven't had an in-character post that didn't have an alt involved for a looooong time, and being glitz just loses it's charm after a while. Maybe a free name tag with joining? BUT NOT ONE FOR PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT ONE AND ALREADY HAD A NAME CHANGE.
I just think there were so many name tag usages then, and... POP! One well, nicely asked name change per person.
Pop! No name changes. AT ALL.
I really screwed up on mine IMO. The character doesn't even have a real name, and when you process 'Glitz yoshi', and say it out loud, it sounds REALLY, REALLY cheesy.
I'm not even sure if Glitz is an adjective! >_< Make it fair, Francis. Newbs must have respect.
Well, I'm no real 'newb', but I came after the name tag dynasty/period/era. |

You weren't here when the name tags were sold. Back then, name changing was happening too often, anyone who had fifty coins could go and change their identity. It was pure hell, and that's all there is to it.
Okay, let's say your plan got approved, and everyone was allowed one name change. Most people would immediatly blow it on something retarded, and then a month later... "franis chanj nam plx" to something else retarded, and then we'd be back to where we started.
Trust me, that's what would happen. |
