It irritates me so.

I'll take afew people into play here. Some will not me named, some will.

Just because someone is popular, means they can make a topic with NO real plot, and no wall of text, maybe a single line, and get three pages of replies.

However, some can make huge awesome works of art....

And be ignored completely because they're not popular. >.>

Vaati for example has GREAT content in his plots. Noone joins though, because he just isn't popular.

It appears that your first topic reads you. If it isn't epic, you are not epic. If it is epic, you are instantly epic.

What I'm saying? Noone here really pays attention to me, and the longest topic I've made probably went around 3 pages. Longest topic ever made? The smash bros. brawl weekday updates, but other than that, it's probably one of devin's kraehe plots.

Anyway, straight to the point, there's nothing I can do. When you're in the popularity scale after three days, your status sticks there.

I'll bet that if Lord Crump posted a topic EXACTLY like one of vaati's plots, it would be flooded. (that said just because he makes LoZ plots.)

The REAL point? Why I posted this here? I can't change, and digibutter is sort of... boring when noone pays attention to you. I don't see myself godmodding, or anything. I know I am payed attention to, but when I make my own topic, I can barely exceed one page.

Digibutter isn't fun to me. I'll probably be gone for a while. I plan to beat OoT again... but I just can't take how some can put no effort into a topic, and get my RECORD of topic length with no content at all. It's just like some form of racist... epicist? I don't know.

I may be convinced, considering digibutter is impossible to leave for too long, I know I'll come back like a boomerang, but I feel I could be doing something better with my life than thinking of a plot, and being ignored, then going into some plot that's halfway over.

Have a nice vacation!

But, if you want an honest answer, it's that people go with what they feel like. Lord Crump wasn't exactly the most noticed RPOT member until his Zelda plot...he just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

My advice? Keep trying. So your idea doesn't work one day, move on! It's disappointing when a topic sinks, but eventually, something happens. Just keep going, keep supporting, get involved with popular plots before spearheading your own projects, and just enjoy yourself.

I...dunno where I stand, really. Most of my topics that were good were because of Medikoopa or me being in the original Role-Playing plot of digibutter. I guess I'm just a wild card. But you have all the time to improve your hand and poker face...so keep on moving! Smile

This.

For the longest time, I was ignored everywhere. Anything I posted was completely and utterly ignored... that is, until I introduced Black Yoshi. I just kept edging my way into plots, and it got me a bit of attention. Finally, once people had given me a little attention, I made the Shiro Tagachi plot. The way I see it, you have to work your way in. I acknowedged you whenever you posted...

...But, if you really feel that way, I'll see you later.

I'm sorry if I'm guilty of doing this, myself... but really.... I guess I'm kind of fickle... I reply to topics when I feel so inclined.

Anyway, I do hope you return (I'm as sure as you that you will), because though you may not see it, with me perhaps posting in a topic you've made, I really don't mind having you here. Don't really like to see members go, though, obviously this leave isn't permanent. Few are.

I totally agree. I've said that before, too. This place worships spammers and attnwhore mods rather than good members, which keep this site alive. Inother words the site is basically already dead.

Wow. I expected flaming.

As I said, you cannot leave this place unless you're physically forced to.

>.> Man, I'm way too obsessed with this place. I need a life. With Mister I's inspirational words, I may just continue the cupid plot.

Nah.
