First off, I need to clarify, why we can't make serious topics always in RP, it's just not too occupied, and everyone, yes, even MODS post serious topics in RPOT. Moving them would be like having a single earthling move the sun. Difficult, painful, and you're going to die in a fire if you even try to anyway. ;~;
So a serious/non serious topic button would mark it as 'NO YOU CAN'T SPAM HERE.' Ones about reading, and asking for no disturbances go under non serious, but others like a huge plot piece are serious. I just saw Petey Piranha make a topic that apperantly he wanted serious, and well... He got sparta'd, and nuke'd.
Yeah. Usually the people who spend alot of time in Off topic go to RPOT to mess something up. If you want a serious topic, *click* People will know not to spam.
And if they do. *bzzzt* report button. |

There's a problem with that--so many people are addicted to RPOT, that they never post in RP. |

Like someone suggested before, we need to make a new forum called "Casual Role-play". So the RPOTers can have fun running around, throwing stuff at each other, the slightly more serious people can have their fun and the reeeally serious people can RP in the... Well... RP forum. It'd solve all of this, and stuff. |

I believe that would be me who suggested this. However, my suggestion was slightly different, in that Casual RP would be RPOT's replacement, but without alt abuse. Going into a thread as Orange Pixel and saying "I'm orange" or going into a thread as Waluigi and raping everybody would not be allowed. Godmodding would also be banned. Alts would be added to OT so people who like abusing alts have a place to go, as long as they don't spam with them.
Though, this could all be avoided with just some better moderating in RPOT.
Besides, having 3 RP forums would be stupid anyway.

Did any of you ACTUALLY read the beginning of the post? Moving the people from RPOT to RP would be like a single earthling moving the sun: Physically impossible, and you would DIE IN A FIRE if you tried.
I REALLY wish we could do that, but all of the people would complain of RPOT to come back to them. |
