I mean, you more or less have to be MORE than PERFECT to beat him! And I only challenged hin ONCE. AND HE PERFECTLY OWNED ME. IN HONEYHIVE. 'NUFF SAID. |

To make up for that, Nintendo had to make Cosmic Luigi screw up at one moment which was the last backflip (I think). So just keep up with him and take him when you have the chance. Also, the long jump is a good way to get ahead as he more or less runs. Practicing and doing the 'starting boost' helps too. Hope this helps. |

During Mario's 120 stars, i long jumped most of the time. I had no problem with cosmic luigi because of that. |

the reason Cosmic Luigi is hard is because Luigi is a new level of Mario (means that Luigi level is higher than Mario level when you play him) |

Really, Cosmic Luigi screws up a LOT. Except in Beach Bowl, the only Cosmic Luigi (and Cosmic Mario too) Star I dare to call hard. The others were nothing special. You just need to practice. But don't go too fast. Thanks to that, I lost way too many lives in Freezeflame Galaxy... Stupid small black hole... |

You should've jumped off of the cliff from the side, that would've saved you lotsa time. |

Cosmic Luigi makes you feel like you're racing against another Human Player.
Since Luigi's Jump and Running speed are different, they had to make Cosmic Luigi his own course, else he would miss jumps/run into walls a lot/fall into holes/etc/etc. I guess they took the occasion to make him a bit harder than Cosmic Mario.
But yeah. There are some times where he screws up, and some others where he misses obvious shortcuts. The trick in honeyhive is to not get stuck onto the honey. |

Cosmic Luigi also tredges through the honey instead of on the dirt. |

For me, the best way to beat him was just to copy his strategies. |
