I was thinking that if you used it on yourself it'd be permanent, if you used it on someone else it would be 12 to 24 hours (nothing permanent)
or maybe they can just change their name back by buying some cheap-o item, like what we do with spraypaint and soap  |

It would be very hard if it was permanent. What if someone changed their name every week? I don't know how user registration works here, but it's probably confusing.
Francis would probably only make one-time changes, like he did for you.

Let's have it so that every time you use it, it gets logged, so we know who used it on who, and if they are idiots with it, can punish them.
Besides I'm a big schizo, I change my name on the internet more than anyone else I've met ^_^
By the way, I don't really have any diseases, that I know of... I just call myself a schizo because I usually do things randomly and spontaneously... |

Naw, just log into your old username, it should automaticly change your name to the name someone has changed it to. ONLY if someone else changed your name.

Well here's how it usually works.
You have a user name (the name you log in with) and a screen name (the name that shows up)
I'm not too sure that's what Francis has set up... or even if phpBB has anything similar.. oh well :/ |
