Have you been watching those commercials where the lady tosses the old washing machine out the window?
Still, Dialup is even WORSE than DSL, and that would classify the Slowskys as "faster than you," and they're turtles who refuse to get Comcast High Speed Internet! |

Yeah, it still does. My family had to live nearly a week with DialUp, before we stepped up to the Comcast Triple Play. That's High Speed Internet with PowerBoost, Digital Phone that costs less than the normal phone company, and Comcast Digital Cable with On Demand. Thanks to Comcast, I was able to watch "Yin Yang Yo," and "Digimon Data Squad" on Toon Disney, Ninja Warrior on G4, and other previously unknown favorites I may have grown to love. |

ah... I remember the good old days of having to place an actual telephone onto a microphone/speaker combo and calling THAT a modem. it's amazing how far we've come.
dialup is so obsolete now. |

We talked with Verizon, my grandma's high-speed internet provider (there is no comcast here D: ), and they said it's not available in our area. Our adress is a different city than my grandma, but SHE FREAKEN LIVES ACROSS THE STREET!!
Anyway, I'm back, again because I was grounded for a few days and my grandparent left on a big trip right afterwards T.T I don't want to make another topic, so I thought I'd update this one.

Oh no, it's way less then that. I timed it the other day, and it took 15 minutes to completely load the homepage (which has to be completely loaded before you surf) and 10+ minutes to load a page (I was loading a Fox News article when I was timing this). Yeah it sucks (and the accelerator People PC advertises? It doesn't do anything but junk up your start bar. |
