I think there should be because SMG is a great game (of skill and unnessacary Bowser DEATH!!!!).  As we all know, SMG has its ups and downs. here is a list of sequal bosses:
1. Mother Dihno Pirhanna
2. King Boo
3. An ANGRY RAMPAGING LUMA!!!! (jk)
(the real) 3. GIANT EVIL LUIGI
4. BOWSER (DUH)
5. BOWSER JR. (DUH-ER)
any other ideas? |

No thanks, we need some variety. The return of Dino Piranha and possibly a mother would be cool though.
I don't think it needs a sequel, because I don't know how they'd manage to make a better conflict. Maybe bring back Tatanga or whatever the antagonist of Super Mario land's name was? |

Yeah, Galaxy is a sequel to sunshine, which is a sequel to 64. Nice ideas, but Nintendo will find the next big thing.
Super mario moonlight, namely. I wish they'd make it. We could have eclipse sprites, instead of shine sprites.
Or super yoshi galaxy. |
