Why are people saying that certain songs aren't for Brawling, like Midna's Desperate Hour.
Personally, I think the more peaceful songs are more epic.
The removed Geno's Forest track was amazing, and I'm still wondering why they removed the Ballad of the Wind Fish... Is there ANY Link's Awakening music in this game anymore?
So anyway, why do a lot of you guys think some of the more downbeat songs aren't worth Brawling to?

Link's Awakening Overworld is still in the game.
Anyway, it's because they just aren't congruous with the hectic and wild nature of this game.

Although I think they could have had more of the Tal Tal theme in there.

A song doesn't have to be hectic to be in a hectic game, in my opinion. The Mario and Luigi games, while still being tun-based RPGs, are very action-packed. If you listen to the final battle music of Partners in Time, it's a really peaceful arrangement, but that's why the battle is 10 times more epic. I don't see why it needs to be different for Brawl. I'd rather have slow-moving, epic music. Not ALL the time, but I'd want to use it often.

Okay, bad example, I guess (even though I don't see why it matters). As for fighting games, I only have a few, like Soul Calibur 2 and 3. And even in those, I prefer the slower-moving songs.
Okay, I guess I'm the only one here who likes to fight to this kind of music.
M'aiq enjoys the "desperate struggle to live" and "fighting to live up to an old memory" themes that some of these songs give off, but thats because M'aiq is a very dramatic person. Fountain of Dreams was one of his favorite SSBM stages because he loved the music so much.

That's what I'm getting at. That slower kind of music gives the feel that there's a meaning to the fight, even if there isn't. That's why I like the Luigi's Mansion theme. It's slow, it's epic, and it fits.
I don't get why these songs were cut out, yet Power-Hungry Fool (Fire Emblem) and the Animal Crossing songs (Excepting K.K. Rider) were left in! It's...well, insane!

Probably had trouble fitting it onto the disc when they localized it.
