Is it because you're on different levels of SSE (most people here seem to play on Normal)? I'm on Hard, so I guess it'll take a bit longer for myself, or maybe I just suck at the game.

Or maybe it's because I only play for about an hour at a time.

Yeah, I did SSE on Normal, so it didn't take long for me. I unlocked every character except 1 or 2 through it.

And Snake's really easy to get.

SSE on Normal to unlock everyone, then I'll replay at higher difficulties later.

not really. I already unlocked Loads of trophies, EVERY CHARACTER, stickers, and loads of music. I started the SSE on EASY first, but beat it in less then 8 hours, and I unlocked every character by brawling, classic mode and all that stuff.

Nah, we just play so good that we're practically as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog himself! I recently unlocked EVERYBODY today!

I'm playing on hard, but I'm also doing regular matched with friends. I like a decent challenge when I play it, or at least somthing that isn't mind-numbing.

I played on normal.
It helps you keep going too if you're playing co-op.
I did that with a friend for about 50% of of it.
And the rest I finished in like eight hours.
