Seriously. Flar3, his little bro and I were playing on Shadow Moses, and a Smash Ball came out.
But I didn't notice it, and Flar3 smashed it. But I kicked his butt fast enough to get it out of him. :D |

It's hard to get it out of people. They can whup your ass with a simple press of the B button. You should Know, seeing there's a 75% chance that you were Ness, PK thunder is good for getting far off smash balls. (As is PK fire.) |

I was Olimar. :D Trying new people FTW.
Flar3 didn't use it right away, so I felt I had time to do it.
And yes, I know that PK Thunder is a good Smash Ball getter. |

The screen flashes when a Smash Ball appears,and the camera zooms out according to how far away it is.
How did you miss THAT?  |

They're really significant to me. Not because they help you win, but because of the simple insanity they bring. Diddy's random barrage, Super Sonic shredding the stage, GREEEEAAAT AEEEETHERRRRRRRRRRR, Yoshi's...er...dragon-thing. It's all extremely chaotic and hilarious, and adds to a lot of fun.
Really, I make an effort to break it or get hit by it (if its cinnematic), just to enjoy the fun. Of course, by "hit by it", I mean "recklessly charge forward and try to knock it out".  |

PK Thunder is basicly how i always get the Smash Ball with Lucas. |
