I like the Wiimote+Nunchuck, but probably only because it adds more spice to the game.

With the Gamecube controller, it doesn't feel as new.

If you have gotten used to Melee, use GCN. If you're new to SSB, forget the Wii Remote/Nunchuck and use the Classic Controller.

I've actually grown to really like the classic controller.
You just have to fix the settings a little such as turn off the tap up on the stick to jump, because it accidentally happens all the time.

I prefer the GCN controller much more, simply because it is more familiar to me and easier to use. Plus the C-Stick smash attack still racks up some easy KOs.

I'm just using the GC controller for now, since it's what I'm used to. Once I've gotten around to beating SSE and unlocking all the characters I'll experiment with other control styles.
