I want an original character, see? Not as in not clone, but I'm sick of seeing Lucas in everyone's sig. EVERYONE is maining Lucas. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to run into the tournament, and realize that everyone is lucas, INCLUDING me. I might just have to go yoshi, but.... he's not good anymore. DX |

Well, Ice Climbers used to be my main before I realized that I own with Pit. They were an "original" main because hardly anyone mains them. I dunno about Pit though.
Some characters that are mained less than others are:
Ganondorf
Ice Climbers
Snake
DK
Yoshi
Diddy
Toon Link
Well, there may be others, but I rarely see people main these characters. |

People just refuse to be toon link because people think he's gay, but he's a great character. I guess I'll be the last three there, though. I'll use TL in the tourney, though. |

Indeed. Toon Link is actually a really good character. My friend used him against me in a Wi-Fi match, and it was really tough to beat him, because he's quick and hits hard for a little guy. DK is decent, although I can't really use him effectively. Same for Yoshi. I actually think he's better in Brawl than in Melee. |

I know of a million other people who are using some of my mains:
Ike
Pit
Diddy
Lucario
ROB
Possibly Wolf because he kicks ass
I think I might use ROB or Wolf for the tournament since they probably aren't as overused. |

I am using Lucario in the tournament... and my other mains are Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Yoshi. And honestly, I think Yoshi's Smash attacks were nerfed speedwise, because I can't pull off the combos I used to be able to in Melee with him. |

Whenever I face a Sonic, it is usually someone who just spams his Over + B move and Down + B over and over and over... bcuz sonic iz teh 1337 lolol

I know, I know. Hah, I can assure you I don't do shit spam with Sonic. I have a play style that employs his capabilities in full. I'm trying to give his character some credibility and show that he can be played seriously.
Also, lol at that taunt. I'd so use that as a sarcastic taunt message. |

Toon Link isn't gay, lol. Those people make me think of Sony or XBox fanboys (mostly Sony) saying that Nintendo itself is gay for being all 'kid's stuff.' And you know, their games are the best because of more actual violence and all that jazz.
Anyway, Toon Link is awesome, and one more reason I like him is BECAUSE he's so looked down upon. It'll be satisfying to hear "THIS GAME'S WINNER IS... TOON LINK!!" I've been practicing with him, as well as Olimar and R.O.B. |
