I'm bored, so I am going to make a random rant on people who think that Shiek from "The Legend of Zelda" Series is a "HE".
I find it a bit offensive, because I am a hardcore zelda fan, but that is beside the point.
First, It is quite obvious that Shiek is a girl, because Shiek is Zelda. This happens after you get all the medallions in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". and Shiek will appear in front of the Temple of Time's entrance. She turns back into Zelda Right infront of you.
Second, In the games 'Super Smash Bros. Melee' and 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' Zelda's Down B move is her disguise as Shiek.
Now, loads of people will try to destroy my argument with "She sounds like a HE" or "Ruto SAID that Shiek was a he".
My come-back to that is, Zelda is in friggin' DISGUISED. If you wish to be in disguised, you want to change EVERYTHING. Shiek, covers most of her face, and talks like a male. Thats not impossible, because many people can imitate girls/guys. It's not that hard really.
Another thing is, if you die as shiek in SSBB., You can hear that her scream, isn't much male isn't it? It's female. Because it hurt, and its hard to disguise your pain with a voice over.
Same goes with Ruto, Shiek is in disguised, Ruto wouldn't know that Shiek is Zelda, Shiek's voice fooled Ruto in believing she was a he. Just what "disguising" was meant to do.. Fool.
So, thats the conclusion of my tiny-itty-bitty rant that I spawned because I was pretty bored. comments and come-backs are welcome! |

Actually, most people don't really give a damn about whether Sheik is a he or a she. It's something many people don't bother thinking about because they're busier doing whatever is to be done in the game Sheik appeared at. |

False as well, many people do care if Shiek is a male or female. |

For some reason I always knew Sheik wasn't male without playing most of the Zelda series. o-O I guess the hair sort of gives it away, i dunno.
But I do know people who would argue about her gender. >_> |
