Depression is an actual ILLNESS caused by the body. What you said is like going up to someone who has cancer and saying "You don't have any reason to have cancer."
I'm sorry, but people who act like depression is a choice just piss me off. If it was a choice, I would not be living like this. If it was a choice, I wouldn't have to spend hundreds of dollars on medication every month. If it was a choice, I wouldn't have had that massive breakdown a few weeks ago where all I could do was walk back and forth and scream.
