I went in school at 7:40 AM (EST) and we were about to get to our homeroom. Next thing I know, all 2,000+ students in the school were packed together in one hallway near the cafeteria.
Something was wrong. Then one of my friends came up to me and told me that "The principal is dead." I didn't believe him at first and then he said, "Heart attack killed him."
Once I got to homeroom, it was silent. In accouncement intercom, one of the vice principals announced that the rumors were true. The school principal was found dead in his office an hour before everyone arrived at school. It has also been rumored that he has not left the school building last night. He has died peacefully. A heart attack was a confirmed conclusion of his death.
In the hallways, when there is normally a lot of chatting, there is nothing but silence and sobbing. The teachers are upset, the students are upset, this is a sad day for my school.
My principal was a great guy. Everytime I felt sad or down, he always lifted my spirits. Now, he's passed on. It's sad indeed and he's probably in a better place now. |

That has happened to me either. The school was full of flowers. Sorrow could be felt. I understand how you feel... (Even though my History test was delayed, I felt sad. |

When I went to elementary school, two teachers from the school died of heart attacks... but neither of them were close to the students like your principle was... I really don't know what to say in this situation, as, no matter what, it would come out seeming light-hearted... |
