Actually in my opinion Marth Got a little less user friendly in brawl, but in turn got stronger. Ike comes more natural to most people.
The glancing blows of brawl, stop the old school Marth "tipper" strategy from Melee(abusing is blade length for cheap consecutive blows often used for racking up major damage on the edge of a stage during a foes recovery.). making him less noob-abusable. his movements are quite diffrent. they made him a great deal faster, and kept his excellent counter the same.
Its easy to use some characters like Ike or Marth. Its hard to master them.

very. I played this dude online and he kept doing that same stupid attack with Ike that is so powerful. |

I didn't have the chance to check out Marth, but, two things IMO:
1. Marth doesn't look as HIDEOUS as Larry says.
2. Ike isn't THAT cheap. But maybe I can't tell if anything not totally uber is cheap, because I have an easy time around someone that trades skill for pure cheapness. |

Marth and Ike are both my mains. I find Marth... Fun to use. He's fast and strong at the same time. Ike, is REALLY fun to play with, because he's fast, and REALLY FREAKING STRONG. |

The first one is true. Just because you can't get past a ccertain character doesn't mean they are cheap, isn't it?
I didn't have any trouble getting past any Ikes, though if I actually get Brawl (Before you say something stupid, I played it over a friend's) and a Wi-Fi connection I'll be able to say that for total sure. |
