I have tried about 20 times now, and I have no problems getting trophy stands. (they always appear on Intense mode)
I just can't find a good team to beat him up with. The three characters that I DO use every time are Kirby, Metaknight, Lucas, and I sometimes use ROB.
Any suggestions? |

Use Sonic, then you can avoid Taboo´s attacks with ease and collect the trophy stands around, he´s also a good fighter with a good final smash, especially for Taboo. |

I don´t have the game yet my country doesn´t, so I just guessed, and his final smash wasn´t the main argument for choosing him. |

I'm scared to unpause the game. I have 77 damage, and I'm on my last character.

It's a matter of luck my friend. That's why I don't have duon/ridley/meta ridley.
Wait, I think I got meta ridley... or did I? Yeah, I did.... I think. |

Did you die?  Win SSE one time then you can choose the one character you want the next time you enter SSE. Thats were Sonic comes in, he can avoid attacks good and then you got a breath while you wait for the stands. |

Funny, immediately after Flavio killed Tabuu on Intense, a trophy stand appeared.
And Flavio means IMMEDIATELY! |
